Fifth Graders Shine at StarBase Academy

Our Fifth Graders spent a week-long STEM field trip at the Los Alamitos Joint Military base launching rockets, conducting chemistry experiments, programming robots and learning about possible careers in the engineering industry. Isaiah Escalante broke the StarBase record with his outstanding water displacement creation.

Jungle Book Kids Delights Sequoia Academy Crowds

Sold-out audiences were delighted watching Sequoia Academy performing arts students when our Disney Musicals in Schools production of the Jungle Book Kids was performed in early June. Many artists who worked backstage last year or had minor roles in Aladdin Kids stepped up and took on starring spots in this year's production.

Sequoia Academy Win Two Prestigious Awards

Sequoia Academy has been recognized by two organizations as an outstanding elementary school in 2019. We've been recognized for exemplary student achievement by the Educational Results Partnership (ERP) and the Campaign for Business and Education Excellence (CBEE) for our 10% improvement on standardized test scores. We have also been recognized as a Common Sense School because of our "dedication to teaching young people how to be safe, responsible digital citizens." Soar high with pride, Eagles!
